About Me
I started this practice because I’m passionate about helping people break free from cycles of pain and create meaningful change in their lives. I know how important it is to have someone in your corner who truly sees you, hears you, and walks alongside you and that understanding comes from both personal experience and professional training.
Years ago, my world changed forever when I experienced the sudden, tragic loss of my 15-year-old son. That loss became the turning point in my life. In my own healing journey, I came to deeply understand how overwhelming grief, heartbreak, and life transitions can feel and how vital it is to have a genuine connection with the person supporting you.
That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others find hope and strength, even when life feels impossible. I’ve had to rebuild myself many times through loss, divorce, and major life transitions and those moments taught me not only resilience but also compassion. I know what it’s like to wonder how you’ll make it through the day, and I also know there is a way forward.
I hold a degree in Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy from KCPC, and my approach blends evidence-based tools with the wisdom gained through lived experience. My work is about creating a safe, supportive space where we can explore what you’re going through, build practical strategies, and help you reconnect with your strength, purpose, and sense of self.
I know it can feel heavy right now, but you don’t have to walk through it alone. Together, we can take the steps toward healing and create a life that feels whole, meaningful, and true to you.

And because I’ve lived through this, I can meet my clients where they are — in the darkness, in the chaos, in the place where it feels impossible to move forward — and help them find a path out. Even though I believe lived experience creates the best therapists, I also bring professional training to the table. I hold a post-graduate degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy, and my approach blends evidence-based tools with real-world understanding. I believe healing comes from both: the strategies we learn and the connection we create. I know how heavy it can feel right now — but I also know there’s a way through. My work is about helping you believe that, too, and giving you the tools to rebuild a life you love.
